Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Claims Involving Wide Receiver the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment Wednesday night stating they have knowledge of claims of abuse made public in social media posts by a ex-partner of player the athlete and were in communication with the NFL.

The team omitted the name of the player by name in their statement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice directly, posted a series of photos on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse.
